Most of us Filipinos have been raised by our parents to be of good hearts and always ready to lend our helping hands to those who are in need. But this story of a grandmother, who appeals to people in different places in Metro Manila, has a different approach of ‘modus’.
A certain netizen named Len Q. Paus has posted online her narrative story on how she met this ‘lola’ along the 11th Avenue in BGC, Taguig. According to her, she posted her story to alert and give warning to people to prevent victims and save lives.
Here is her viral story. This is quite lengthy but is worth reading as it can save your life and your loved ones. Don’t take this for granted.
“BEWARE! (Uppercase para intense) I posted this to prevent victims and save lives.
Around 7:30am, I met this old woman at 11th Avenue, BGC, Taguig.
Same incident happened before kaya mega research naman kami to confirm.

As of this posting, thousands of netizens have already been warned about this new type of modus. They also shared to their family and loved ones, most especially those who are very loving and helpful to other people even if they didn’t know the whole story.
It is not ‘wrong’ to lend our helping hands to all people who are asking for it. This story has just reminded us to be more ‘careful’ and to analyze every situation we are in. We can still help but be sure to vigilantly understand the whole picture before making a move.
