Former principal is now a janitress in very same school she served

For the remainder of our lives we have to do our very best to secure a brighter tomorrow for our loved ones. The secret behind this may sound simple, but it actually depends on how determined you are for reaching such goals.

That being said, a former school Principal at Ligaya Elementary School located somewhere in Quirino named Pacita Piano thought she’ll spend the rest of her life in a peaceful and financially secured after she retired all those years ago, but unfortunately for nanay Pacing, it is completely the opposite.

According to a story featured in ABS-CBN’s Rated K, the former elementary school principal wasn’t able to live a life she aimed for after she retired, because of the fact that many of her family members were not able to pay the debt they owed to her. The bad news just kept coming when nanay Pacing’s house got burnt down in 2004, along with the list of the people who owed her money.

Now at 84 years old, nanay Pacing is working as a janitress in the very same school she calls her home for more than 50 years.

According to one of the teachers being interviewed, the retired principal was not forced to work but it was her own way to show her gratitude to a 2,500 pesos monthly stipend given to her by the government.

It is really heartbreaking seeing old people still working their butts off despite of their old age. We all hope that nanay Pacing would receive the help she needs, so that she wouldn’t have to struggle and just enjoy the years she have left.
