This guy travels the world with improvised boat to preach Jesus Christ

To travel and explore the world may be everyone’s dream. But traveling with a sense of purpose is what Jonathan Selby is after.

The 69-year-old retired teacher has been traveling across the globe for about two years alread with his sole aim of making Jesus known to the world.

Back in February of 2014, the traveler from USA took more than a month to reach Singapore before he decided to sail to Manila. He even sailed down to Cebu and Davao before he went back to Tacloban, Panay, Boracay and then he eventually reached Palawan.

Jonathan is not just an adventurer but also a missionary. Traveling the world is his way of serving the Lord wherever he may go.

After his trip to Palawan, he plans on going to Malaysia and other nearby countries before he makes his way back to his home.

Jonathan does his missionary work by teaching young children to sing Christian Songs. He says that he gets fulfilled if he gets to hear them singing the songs he taught. He also shares whatever food he has to them.

Sometimes, when he gets to a certain place, there are also people who share the same belief as him and even invite him to preach in their church which makes him feel honored.

However, when he once managed to visit a remote village he saw that some people don’t even have basic necessities and it makes him sad that he is not able to help them.

Lolo Johnny, as what the people call him is just glad of the fact that in the future when he decides to go back to a certain place he has been to, there will still be people who will willingly receive him.
