Head lice are small, wingless, blood-sucking insects. They live in the hair on your head and feed off the blood from your scalp. A louse (a single adult) is about the size of a sesame seed. A nit (louse egg) is about the size of a small flake of dandruff.
The worst part about having head lice is that it is contagious. One can become easily infected when the insect crawl onto the head or when one shares personal items such as a comb with a person who is infected with head lice. Luckily, there are quite numerous forms of treatment for head lice that are readily available and it only depends on the infected person to make an effort to cure head lice.
A netizen recently shared a quite disturbing photos and disgusting video of a person with head lice. In the said post, the Facebook user named Primo Onipa shared his experience while he rode a tricycle. In the post, Onipa narrated that he was riding a tricycle one morning, he noticed that the driver has bad breathe and has lice moving around even in the collar of his shirt.
In the photos and video that Onipa shared, it can be seen that the lice are even moving and the said driver had a dread lock hairstyle. Netizens on the comment section said that his head lice infestation might have been caused by the dread lock as it can be hard to clean the hair with such hairstyle.
The said post caused quite a stir that it already gained 12,000 reactions, 25,000 comments and 18,000 shares as of writing time.
