Man is fighting for his life in a hospital after winning a deadly battle against a 23-foot long Python

Snakes are probably the most hated reptile in history. Although some people also love to make snakes as their pets, most people are already jumping all over the place whenever they set their eyes on a snake.

However, in Indonesian, a very brave security guard did not show any fear towards a snake when he surprisingly won an exhausting fight to death against a 23-ft long python.

Robert Nababan, who works as a security guard on a palm oil plantation in the Indragiri Hulu Regency area was on his way home from work when he saw two people blocked form crossing a road by an enormous snake.

The 37-year-old decided to help them, and it was then that a terrifying experience he won’t forget for his lifetime started to unfold.

Nababan and the snake wrestled in the middle of the road in Riau Province of Indonesia as some passerby looked on in horror.

The very dangerous encounter resulted to the death of the snake and left Nababan with a large wound on his arm as a result of a bite from the snake.

When interviewed, Nababan said, “I tried to catch it. It bit my arm, and we wrestled for a while.”

The hideous creature is now strung across Nababan’s village – on display like a washing line. All because of his brave effort to fight and kill the snake.

Although Nababan also suffered a deep wound that would take ‘some time’ to heal, the villagers consider him a hero, especially that he almost sacrificed his own life just to save other people.
