Man planted 6,000 trees in honor for his wife, 17 years later his secret is discovered inside this forest

Every love story has its own unique story to tell. And sometimes, the most romantic and affectionate ones are just hidden and kept untold. Mostly, stories which aren’t exposed in different social medias are the ones true and keeping strong.

Just like with the love story of the couple who were so strong with their relationship and had kept their true love with each other. They had loved each other unconditionally, but after 33 years of marriage full of happiness, Janet bid goodbye to her husband Winston Howe because of heart attack.

But their love story didn’t just end there, after losing his wife 20 years ago, Winston planted 6,000 oak trees on a farm in southwest England to pay homage to his beloved wife. It isn’t just all about the trees he planted, but with the special heart-shaped meadow he had inside the forest.

Winston’s unconditional and amazing love for his wife Janet was kept hidden for 17 years. But in 2012, his secret was finally discovered and was shared to the whole world. It was because of a man named Andy Collett who was up in a hot air balloon when he looked down and saw the heart-shaped form from the sky.

Andy told the Daily Mail, “You can just imagine the love story. I have my own balloon and am quite a regular flyer, but this was the most amazing sight I have ever seen from the sky.”

Winston had also said that he sometimes would walk in that heart-shaped meadow to reminisce the great times he had with Janet.

“It is a lovely and lasting tribute to her which will be here for years”

The point at the bottom of the heart points to the farm where Janet grew up, and daffodils would fill the meadow every spring.
