Meet the amazon tribe that uses cylindrical wood as jewelry to decorate their mouth because why not?

A tribe is defined as group of distinct people, dependent on their land for their livelihood, who are largely self-sufficient, and not integrated into the national society. Oftentimes, these tribes are considered the lumad people or those that are not yet as ‘advanced’ as those who live in urban areas.

Tribes often reside in the peaks of mountains and often live a peaceful life just by themselves away from the noise and pollution of the city.

This particular tribe lives in an unknown and hidden amazon. They are composed of barely 200 people. What is great about them is that they solely exist and live their live without harming mother nature like the big factories in the city do.

One can be identified as a part of this tribe through a cylindrical wood. They use the cylindrical wood as jewelry that they wore beneath their mouth.

Their main source of food is hunting. In one part of this documentary video that you will see below, a head of the family came home without catching anything but his wives and children still welcomed him and attended to his needs.

In the further part of the video, the tribe can be seen building a house out of nipa and bamboo. It is said that such house can be shared by members of the community even if they do not belong to the same family.

Overall, the life that these people live is very far from the kind of life the people in the big cities live. However, one thing is common between them, all are human beings. Human beings who all have a war to face in order to get through with their daily lives and be able to live the kind of life that they have been dreaming about.
