These are what the red dots on your skin means

Skin problems are often times getting ignored because many people just don’t see it as a huge threat. One of these problems is the small red colored dots on your skin. Although many of us already experienced having these red dots, no one really has the knowledge of what it really means.

We often see these red dots/rashes appearing on our palm or arms and makes us want to scratch due to its itchiness, but its only giving an all over reddish appearance on our skin. These can be due to various causes,and in some cases, the non-itchy ones can be an outbreak of the itchy ones.

1. Intertrigo

Intertrigo is a type of rush that occurs in places like the armpit, under the torso and even down in our private parts. It is said that people who are obese are usually the ones who face these rashes more often.

2. Dermatofibroma

This reddish skin rash is said to be commonly found in women and usually occurs on their lower legs. It is actually not that dangerous, but it is advised not to be ignored and it commonly shows up with more than one dot.

3. Irritant Contact Dermatitis

This skin irritation is the result of repeatedly exposing your skin mild soaps, alkali, detergents and other such substances.

4. Blood Spots

Blood spots are caused by bursting of blood capillaries under the skin and are usually caused by sunburns and various injuries.

5. Hives

These are bumpy spots on your skin that can last for quite a long time. Hives are usually caused by allergies.

6. Rosacea

Among the previous ones on the list, this could be the one you should get checked immediately. These rashes only appears on the face and it is a chronic skin condition that causes tiny red pimples.

7. Bug Bites

If you see tiny red colored dots when you get out of your bed, it is probably be a cause of bug bites.

8. Heat Rush

This is one of the most irritating skin rashes that develops during summer and usually a caused by the trapped sweat in clogged pores.

9. Pityriasis Rosea

Pityriasis Rosea is caused by a virus and the red rashes usually last a long time. Its appearance is usually red or pink in color and is raised

10. Boils

This red bumps came from the infection of the hair follicle or gland and is filled with pus.

11. Keratosis Pilaris

This is caused by the over production of the keratin pigment. Although not really that harmful, no one wants to have their body covered with small red colored spots.

12. Allergic Reaction

This is the most common reason why we have red spots appearing on our skin. To avoid this from occurring, the only thing you need to do is avoid the staff you are allergic with.
